Redhill, Surrey
Part-time position. Up to 25 hours per week throughout the year.
Working hours: 7:20-9am and 3pm-6pm. Admin hours outside of Club hours. Holiday Club hours in Horley.
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and/or Playwork. The candidate must have previous experience of working in childcare settings and good knowledge of the EYFS. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of this exciting and growing Club. Hours may be available at our Holiday Club in Horley.
For the right candidate with an existing NVQ Level 2 in Childcare/Playwork, NVQ Level 3 training can be arranged. Induction training is given to all new team members.
You will have excellent communication skills, be motivated and confident with the ability to lead a team of Playworkers. The post involves admin duties, planning, supporting staff, building and maintaining working relationships with parents, the school and the community, facilitating and supporting children’s play, supervising children aged 4-11 years’ to make sure they are safe and well.
