You can register with us by clicking on the Join Now button at the top right-hand side of this page. You will be able to create an account with us. Please complete all sections of the registration process. If you require any help or assistance, please email our team at info@oscahs.co.uk. We are always happy to help.  

Once you have registered with us, and added all the details we require, you will be able to book the days and sessions you require through your account with us. Please note that booking accepted on a first come, first served basis. If you need any assistance booking with us, please do not hesitate to contact our team at info@oscahs.co.uk. We are always happy to help.

Our Clubs are for primary school aged children. Children must be 4 years of age, and already attending Year Reception, to attend our Club. To attend Yattendon Club in term time, children must be attending Yattendon School and be in Years’ 3 – 6.

Children leaving Year 6 can continue to attend OSCAHS at our Holiday Clubs until the end of summer holiday period. 

Regular bookings are sessions booked for 31 days or more; up to one academic year. Families are able to book up to one academic at a time, which means you child’s place at OSCAHS is guaranteed for the duration of the booking.

Ad-hoc bookings are sessions booked for up to 30 days or less. Sessions are only guaranteed for the period booked. However, families can cancel their ad-hoc booking with 48 hours’ notice. To cancel your ad-hoc booking you will need to contact us directly at info@osccahs.co.uk

Mistake happen! We are only human after all. Where an error is made, please inform us within 48 hours of submitting your booking request so we can help you.

Yes, we do plan activities. Activities range from group games to art and craft. However, as we are a play-based setting and guided by the Playwork Principles, children do not have participate in the adult-led activities. Our Playworkers are guided by the children. Play is child-led.

OSCAHS is a place where children are in control… within reason, of course! Our aim is for children to relax and have fun playing games or taking part in activities. Children can choose to do their homework. However, our Playworkers are unable to assist in helping children to do their homework.

We are open from 07:30 in term time. We unable to accept childcare into our Breakfast Clubs before our opening time.

We close at 6pm in term time. However, we may close earlier if the school is due to close earlier than usual. Where this happens, we will continue to provide 3 hours of childcare and play services from the end of the school day. For example, if the school closes at 1:30, we will close at 4:30.

Children must be collected by closing time. Children collected after the closing time may be charged a Late Collection fee. This is charged at £0.50 per minute for the first 15 minutes, and £1.00 per minute thereafter.

If you think you are going to be late, please contact us immediately so we know you are safe and on your way.

Our Holiday Clubs open from 8am and close at 6pm.

Yes, we do. Breakfast and snacks are included within our fees structure. Lunch at our Holiday Clubs is available for an additional cost.

At Breakfast Club, breakfast is available from 07:30 to 08:20. Parents wishing their child to eat breakfast must arrive at the Club before 08:20. At our Holiday Clubs, breakfast is available from 8am to 9am.

Snacks at the After School Club and Holiday Club will be made available from 15:30 until 16:30. During the winter period, snacks is available at the later time of 16:30 until 17:30. This is to allow children time to access the outdoor space before sunset. Our afternoon snacks are not intended to replace an evening meal or dinner at home.

Lunch is available during Holiday Club from midday to 1pm.

Fruit and a jug of fresh water is available throughout the session.

We will never force a child to eat or drink if they do not want to. Food and drink will not be used as punishment or to manage behaviour. 

Yes, you can. Parents can provide their children will their own packed lunch. Any food brought into our Holiday Clubs must not contain nuts.

Yes, we are more than happy to. We ask parents to notify us regarding any special dietary requirements or allergies when they register their child. Information regarding food allergies is recorded on the Allergy Information List, which is visible to staff whilst food is being prepared. In addition, we are a ‘nut-free’ organisation.

As an inclusive organisation, we will always do our best to meet the individual needs of every child. As we operate a free-play/child-led environment, we are unable to provide one-to-one adult support for children. Please discuss your child’s needs with us to see how we can support your child.

Children are unable to attend if they have been vomiting and/or have diarrhoea, and cannot attend until 48 hours after the last bout of illness. We recommend that parents follow advice from their GP and/or medical professional.

If a child becomes unwell at the Club, we will contact the parents.

Fees are due regardless of attendance. However, if a child is unwell and is unable to attend our Club on medical grounds for more than two consecutive week, please contact us at info@oscahs.co.uk

Parents must make sure those who are able to pick up their children for our Clubs are named on the collectors list. Parents can amend the collectors list at any time by going to their online account with us.

Collectors must bring suitable identification (I.D) with them so we can verify the identity of the person(s) collecting the child.

We strongly recommend parents inform the Club in advance if an unfamiliar collector is due to pick up their child. This will help with the collections process.

Children will not be released to individuals who are not named on the collectors list. 

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the place. This is 5% of the booking cost for term time Clubs, and 10% of the booking cost for Holiday Club bookings. The non-refundable deposit is not an additional cost to the booking cost.

Invoices must be paid at the time of booking or, where there is a payment plan, by the payment due date. Parents with a monthly payment plan must make their payment by the twenty-eighth of each month.

Payments are due in advance of any booked sessions to secure the place.

Payments can be made by debit/credit card via the booking system. Parents can choose to buy BACS/bank transfer, as well as childcare vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare (TFC).

Yes, you can. We do not expect our families to pay an invoice in one go. Especially one covering a full academic year! A monthly payment plan can be put in place for your booking to help you manage the costs. Your payment plan may change if you decide to amend your booking.

You can indeed. We welcome payments via childcare vouchers, including the Tax-Free Childcare (TFC) scheme. We belong to a wide-range of childcare voucher providers, such as Edenred, Wider Plan, Sodexo etc. If there is a childcare voucher group you would like to use and we are not signed up them, please let us know and we will happily join them. There is a 10% discount for younger siblings when siblings attend the same booked sessions. If your child attends every Breakfast and After School Club sessions in term time, you can ask to join our Weekly Saver Parent Group, which means parents save 5% on their booking. Alternatively, parents can ask to join our Term In Advance (TIA) Parent Group. Parents paying a term in advance can save 10% on their bookings. To join the TIA Parent Group, parents must pay the instalments by 28th August, 28th December and 28th March.

Parents are unable to join both Weekly Saver Parent Group and TIA Parent Group at the same time.

We do not offer refunds for cancelled sessions. If there is a credit balance on your account, the credit balance can be used towards another booking or a future booking. We hold a credit balance for a maximum of 3 years.

Parents/carers can cancel their booking through our booking system. The cancellation period is one month for regular term time bookings and two weeks’ for Holiday Club bookings.
